Obituary

ISABEL MARGARET FAUBLE, 86, formerly of 55 East Washington Street, Hagerstown, Maryland, died Saturday, November 28, 2009 at Coffman Nursing Home. Born March 8, 1923 in Antietam Furnace, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Norman Lester and Nina Mae Ebersole Ecton. She was preceded in death by her first husband, William Henry Howard in 1975, and her second husband, William Edward Fauble in 1988. She was employed at Hanover Shoe in Middletown, Maryland. She was a member of the Burnside Church of God, and attended the Trinity Bible Church. She was a member of the Fellowship Circle at Cedar Missionary Church, a member of the Moose in Reisterstown, MD, and served as Treasurer at Elizabeth Court Association. She is survived by six daughters, Nina Mae Lassiter of Fairberry, IL, Virginia Ann Minnick of Brunswick, MD, Linda Darlene Longerbeam of Ranson, WV, Susan Kay Hite of Charlestown, WV, Peggy Jean Cornell and Deborah Jo York both of Hagerstown, MD; one son, Robert Thomas Howard of Boonsboro, MD; two step-daughters, Mary Wibbel and Grace Canfield both of Hagerstown, MD; one sister, N. Lorraine Churchey of Antietam Furnace, MD; three brothers, Elmer Theodore Ecton, and Atlee C. Ecton, both of Hagerstown, MD and Roger Ecton of Antietam Furnace, MD; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, William Curtis Howard, Sr. and Donald Eugene Howard; two sisters, Viola Virginia Ingram and Alice M. Dralco; five brothers, Thomas Ecton, Leon Ecton, Richard Ecton, John Ecton, and Harold Lee Ecton; one, half brother, Sylvester Ecton; one granddaughter, Peggy Darring and one great grandson. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Boulevard, Hagerstown, MD. Rev. Betty D. Jones will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friend at the funeral home on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m.
