Imre Tibor Jarmy, 89, died peacefully in his sleep on September 25, 2022 in Hagerstown, MD.

Born in Debrecen, Hungary, Mr. Jarmy attended Sarospatak High School. He emigrated to the US in 1957, earning a B.A. and an M.A. from Michigan State and also a Masters of Library Science from the University of Michigan. He spent his professional career with the Library of Congress in Washington, DC.

Mr. Jarmy is survived by wife of 26 years, Linda A. Jarmy, his children Michael T. Jarmy and Katalin J. Keesee, and their children.

His ashes will be interred at a later date in Keedysville, MD.
