HILDA MILLER SPRECHER, 90, of 225 Pangborn Boulevard, Hagerstown, Maryland, a resident of Coffman Nursing Home, died Sunday, February 15, 2009 at the nursing home. Born April 30, 1918 in Hagerstown, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Vernon M. and Irene Miller. She was a graduate of Hagerstown High Class of 1936. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold D. Sprecher in 2004, after sixty-four years of marriage. She was a member of Otterbein United Methodist Church, the Fidelity Sunday School Class and Otterbein Seniors. She was a member and past matron of Queen Esther Chapter No. 3, Order of the Eastern Star since 1959. She served the Grand Chapter as Grand Officer and thirty-two years as Deputy Grand Lecturer. She is survived by one daughter, Barbara E. Sprecher of Panama City Beach, Florida; one son, Tim Sprecher and wife Doris of Cottontown, Tennessee; one sister, Mildred M. Harple of Hagerstown, MD; four grandsons, Christopher J. Yeater and wife, Maddy of Greencastle, PA, Dwain F. Yeater of Tempe, Arizona, David E. Sprecher of Chambersburg, PA, James V. Sprecher, Boonsboro, MD; one granddaughter, Robin K. Ridenour of Greencastle, PA; three step granddaughters, two step grandsons, three step great grandsons and three step great granddaughters all of Tennessee; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Irene E. Hutzell and Helen L. Snively Miller; one brother, Charles W. Miller. Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Otterbein United Methodist Church, 108 East Franklin Street, Hagerstown, Maryland. The Rev. Dr. Stephen D. Robison will officiate. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday at the Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Blvd, Hagerstown, Maryland from 7 to 9 p.m.; where the Order of the Eastern Star Queen Esther Chapter No. 3 will have a memorial service at 7:15 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Otterbein United Methodist Church Building Fund, 108 East Franklin Street, Hagerstown, Maryland
