HERMAN THOMAS CAUDILL, 71, of Maugansville, Maryland, died on Monday, May 21, 2007 at the Veterans Hospital Center in Martinsburg, West Virginia. Born December 28, 1935 in Ashland, Kentucky, he was the son of the late John Franklin and Nellie Gallaher Caudill. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sally Lou Caudill on September 16, 2006. He served in the U. S. Air Force. He retired from Litton Industries. He was a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Temple. He is survived by three sons, Randall T. Caudill of Lanham, Maryland, Robert S. Caudill of St. Leonard, Maryland, and Donald L. Caudill of Boonsboro, Maryland; one brother, James Caudill of Chase City, Virginia; ten grandchildren, and one great-grandson. He was preceded in death by one sister, Martha L. Highfield, and one brother, Harold Caudill. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a. m. Friday at the Emmanuel Baptist Temple. Rev. Dr. Larry G. Aikens will officiate. Burial will be in Rocky Gap Veterans Cemetery in Flintstone, Maryland at 2:00 p. m. Friday. Family will receive friends at the Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Boulevard on Thursday from 7 to 9 p. m., and one-half hour prior to the service at the church.
