Henrietta Lapole, 89, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at Hagerstown Health Care. Born October 26, 1928 in Washington County, MD, she was the daughter of the late Chester and Captolia (White) Burger. Henrietta was preceded in death by her husband, Wilber Lee LaPole in 2000. She was a graduate of Hagerstown High School, and a member of Harvest Baptist Church. She loved to travel with her family, and enjoyed camping. Henrietta is survived by five sons, Chester LaPole and wife, Kitty, William LaPole and wife, Tina, Dennis LaPole and wife, Ruthanna, David LaPole and wife, Kay, and Richard LaPole and wife, Tracey; eight grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by grandson, Thomas LaPole; three sisters, Pat Martin, Betty Stockslager, and Margarite Rudisill; and one brother, Earl Fouck. Services will be held 11am, Saturday, December 9, 2017 at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD. Pastor Ken Harris will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Friday, December 8, 2017, from 6 to 8pm. The family request the omission of flowers.
