HELEN JANE WOLFORD, 81, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away Sunday, October 26, 2014 at Meritus Medical Center. Born August 5, 1933 in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Elmer Theo and Helen Shaffer Ridenour. Helen was a member of the Broadfording Church of the Brethren Fellowship. She volunteered as a Cub Scout leader for many years with Cub Scout Pack 102 at the Wacohu Grange. Helen is survived by her husband of 64 years, Floyd (Mutt) Wolford; one daughter, Donna Jean Weyant; three sons, Thomas T. Wolford, Russell W. Wolford, Ronnie Hull; three grandchildren, Robert W. Weyant, Jr., TaKara L. Atherton, Virginia L. Weyant; and many great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Sissy Conrad in 2000. A memorial service will be held 4pm Thursday, October 30, 2014 at Broadfording Church of the Brethren Fellowship, 14010 Greencastle Pike, Hagerstown, MD. Rev. Len Smith will officiate.
