HELEN ELIZABETH STOTTLEMYER, 90, of Hagerstown, Maryland passed away Friday, March 28, 2014 at Reeders Memorial Home in Boonsboro, Maryland. Born May 7, 1923 in Frederick, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late William Earl Pfaff Crist and E. Marie Winpigler Crist. Helen was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-three years, Charles (Chuck) Stottlemyer on April 4, 2005. She was a member of Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church. She was a member of the Ladies of the Elks Lodge 378 and American Legion Post 211, Funkstown. She loved traveling to warm places, dancing the jitterbug, and bringing joy and laughter to others. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and was a good friend to many. She is survived by a daughter, Penny S. Bohn; two grandchildren, Tracey Steiner and husband, Adam of Fairfax, Virginia and Brian Bohn and wife, Susan of Bel Air, Maryland; four great grandchildren, Cole Steiner, Jackson Steiner, Aidan Bohn, and Leah Bohn; niece, Lorna Bock; and great niece, Chelsea Bock. She was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Ronald L. Bohn and a brother, Earl C. Crist. Funeral services will be Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD. The Rev. Stephanie S. Steele will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Tuesday at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, 216 N.
