HELEN RUTH LEE, 90, of Hagerstown, Maryland, died Saturday, February 9, 2013 at her home. Born in 1923, in Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Karol and Julia Cvengros Smorada. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Benjamin Lee, who was a veteran of the U. S. Army, during World War II. She retired from the Maryland Correctional Institute. She is survived by two daughters, Debra Lee and Linda Fries. She is preceded in death by five sisters, Mary, Emma, Pauline, Martha and Margaret; and three brothers, Charles, August, and George. There will be no services or viewing. Arrangements are by Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Boulevard, Hagerstown, Maryland.
