Helen May Stotelmyer Hoch, 92, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at Williamsport Retirement Village in Hospice care.

Born October 21, 1932 in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Arthur G. and Edna Margaret (Kline) Stotelmyer.

Helen is survived by her brother, Robert Lee Stotelmyer, and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Luther Ardel Hoch (03/03/1984); her sisters, Edna Marie Feigley and Geraldine L. Stotelmyer Andrews; and brothers, Richard A. Stotelmyer, Gerald G. Stotelmyer, and Roy L. Stotelmyer.

Helen was a devoted partner, working alongside her husband in his business. She also contributed to her community as a dedicated paper delivery person for the Herald-Mail. Helen's love of cooking led her to join Leiter's Fine Catering, where her hard work and commitment were deeply valued.

Helen was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Temple in Hagerstown.

The funeral will be held at 1pm on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD. Pastor Curtis Hendershot will officiate. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service (12pm). Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
