HELEN FAY DAVIES, 91, of 6503 Coffman Farms Road, Keedysville, Maryland, died on Sunday, April 10, 2005 at Reeders Memorial Home in Boonsboro, Maryland. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Davies in 1991. Born February 15, 1914 in Syracuse, New York, she was the daughter of the late George and Nellie Fay Hanes Gallanger. She was a member of the Unitarian Universalist Church of Greater Nashville, Tennessee. She was active with the Senior Citizen's Group in Franklin, Tennessee. She is survived by one daughter, Marcia Davies of Keedysville, Maryland; one son, Hugh Alfred Davies of Brentwood, Tennessee; two sisters, Grace Bell of Rochester, New York, and Alice Bortless of Bradenton, Florida; two grandchildren, and one great-grandson. There will be a private family service with no viewing.
