HAZEL VIRGINIA ELLIOTT, 73 of 35 Avalon Avenue, Hagerstown, Maryland, died Friday, February 24, 2006 at the Washington County Hospital. Born August 6, 1932 in Bradley, Arkansas, she was the daughter of the late Eldridge D. and Winnie H. Brown Carr. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Hooks, Texas. She is survived by her husband, Eugene F. Elliott; two daughters, Gail Orr and husband Shawn of Lincoln, Nebraska and Sheena Fontaine and husband Roy of Weatherford, Texas; one son, Richard Elliott and wife Stephenie of Hagerstown, Maryland; one brother, Preston Carr of Hooks, Texas; seven grandchildren, Elizabeth Pecjak and husband Joe, Nataisha Stevenson and husband Jeremy, Amanda Asaf and husband Bryan, Hannah Fontaine and Jessie Tellez, Jason Fontaine, Shelby Elliott and Richard Elliott II and four great grandchildren, Skylar Asaf, Emajin Asaf, Logan Tellez and Aszlyn Asaf. Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday at the Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Boulevard, Hagerstown, Maryland. The Rev. Louis L. Emerick will officiate. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park in Williamsport, Maryland. The family will receive friends on Wednesday at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m.
