Harvey Eugene Cantner, 83, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away on Tuesday, November 9, 2021, at Meritus Medical Center. Born December 3, 1937 in Waynesboro, PA, he was the son of the late Harvey Edgar and Louise Glenna (Charles) Cantner. Harvey was a 1955 graduate of Hagerstown High School. He has owned and operated Cantner Alarm Service since he founded it, and his sons will continue the business. Harvey is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Lela "Deanie" Ardean Cantner; two daughters, Sandra Fields and her husband, Tim, and Robin Kell and her husband, Randy; two sons, Tim Cantner and his wife, Tamara, and Scott Cantner and his wife, Cathy; ten grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one sister, Doris Cline of Delaware. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four sisters, Mary Snowberger, Catherine Howell, Lois Snyder, and Sylvia Bonebrake. A Celebration of Life will be held at 1pm on December 3, 2021, at Elmwood Farm Bed and Breakfast, 16311 Kendle Rd, Williamsport, MD. Arrangements made by Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E.
