Harvey "Brad" Lee Bradford, 97, of Hagerstown, MD passed away on Thursday, February 22, 2024. He was born on August 6, 1926 to the late Charles Edward Bradford and Ruth Presgraves Bradford. He was affectionately known as "Brad" to family and friends.

He was a member of John Wesley United Methodist Church and a head usher for over 20 years. Brad was an avid gardener and enjoyed spending many hours working with his vegetable garden and landscape around his home. He was devoted to the medical profession and served many years as an office manager for Dr. Welty, and as an x-ray technician as well as a trainer and instructor at Washington County and Frederick Memorial Hospital.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Myrtle Virginia Bradford and his son, Kenneth L. Bradford.

He is survived his daughter, Kathryn E. Martin-Nelson and her husband, M. Craig Nelson; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are welcomed for a visitation on Saturday, March 2, 2024 from 1:00pm – 3:00pm at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Boulevard in Hagerstown.

A funeral service will be held the following week on Saturday, March 9, 2024 at 12:00pm at John Wesley United Methodist Church, 129 N. Potomac Street in Hagerstown.

Interment will take place at Rest Haven Cemetery in Hagerstown.
