Obituary

HARRY A. TEACH, 73, of Hagerstown, Maryland, died Sunday, August 19, 2012 at City Hospital in Martinsburg, West Virginia. Born November 27, 1938 in Pinesburg, Maryland, he was the son of the late Charles Jacob and Lillie Mae Cornell Teach. He was a carpenter by trade and retired from Bozzuto Construction. He was a member of AARP and also a member of Berkeley Co. Chapter of Izaak Walton League where he was on the board of directors for five sessions. He is survived by his wife, Ruby Dolores Brown Teach; a daughter, Susan K. Teach of Ocean City, Maryland; a son, Harry J. (Jim) Teach of Williamsport, Maryland; three step-sons, Richard Todd Barger, John Gerald Barger and Jerry Wayne Barger, all of Hagerstown; a grandson, Keith Edward Teach; a granddaughter, Allyson A. Barger, a great granddaughter, Kaitlyn E. Teach; and a sister, Josephine Palmer of Boonsboro, Maryland. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Anthony and Dorothy Bernhisel and an infant brother. A memorial service will be held Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd. Hagerstown, Md. Larry Miller will officiate. There will be no viewing. Memorial donations may be made to Berkeley County Chapter IWLA, P.O.
