Harry William Ragland, 79, of Mercersburg, PA, passed away on Saturday, September 2, 2023. He was born on January 20, 1944 to the late Albert Russell Ragland and Goldie Clark Ragland.

Harry was more often known as "Moose" or the "Lawnmower Man", as he was well known for driving his lawnmower all around town. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, caring for the cats in the neighborhood, and he loved Krumpe's Donuts. However, most of all, he loved being a "Pappy" to his grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Frances Younker, Gladys Whitmer, Nancy Renner, Alberta Woodcock, Bonnie Ragland, and Phyllis Eader, and his brother, Albert Ragland Jr.

He is survived by his companion, Diane Wolfe, his children, Jason William Ragland, Nicole Lynn Ragland and her partner, Shaun, Dakota James Ragland and his wife, Candice, and Harry "Billy" Ragland Jr. and his wife, Tina, his grandchildren, Thomas, Aubrey, Alexis, Brianna, Daniel, Kylynn, Russell, Katie, Cameron, Kari, Brittney, Amber, Zachary, Carrie, and Jimmy, twelve great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are welcomed for a visitation on Monday, September 11, 2023 from 6:00pm – 8:00pm at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Boulevard in Hagerstown.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at 11:00am at the funeral home. Rev. Russell Hoffman will officiate.

Interment will take place at Rose Hill Cemetery in Hagerstown.
