HARRY DAVID (MIKE) KAETZEL, 67, of 17737 Timberlane, Hagerstown, Maryland, died on Thursday, November 17, 2005 at the Veterans Hospital in Martinsburg, West Virginia. Born February 3, 1938 in Hagerstown, Maryland, he was the son of the late Harry David Kaetzel Sr. and Berniddine R. Cramer Kaetzel. He was preceded in death by his wife, Thelma V. (Petie) Kaetzel in August of 2003. He served in the U. S. Army from 1957 to 1963. He was employed with Pangborn Corporation for 30 years, retiring in 2000. He was a member of the Amvets Post 10, the Williamsport Red Men, Conococheague Tribe No. 84, the American Legion, Funkstown Post 211, and the Fraternal Order of Eagles. He is survived by three step-daughters, Kelly Bechdel of Inwood, West Virginia, Susan Lewis of Inwood, West Virginia, and Kathy Sorrell of East Palestine, Ohio; two step-sons, Sam Jackson of Lisbon, Ohio, and Tom Jackson of Charles Town, West Virginia; four sisters, Belle Enos of Smithsburg, Maryland, Hariette Semler of Smithsburg, Delphine Epple of Pittsburgh, Pa. and Gloria Jean Gossert of Chicago, Ill.; eleven step-grandchildren, and sixteen step-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Marie Harris. Burial and services will be at the convenience of the family. There will be no viewing.
