Harry Leon Carpenter Sr., 77, of Hagerstown, MD, died May 3, 2015 at the Meritus Medical Center, Hagerstown, MD. Born October 28, 1937 in MD, he was the son of the late Earl and Thelma Spigler Carpenter. Harry is survived by his two daughters, Brenda Palmer and Robin Armstrong both of MD; five sons, Harry Carpenter Jr. of MD, Harvey Carpenter, of PA, Brian Carpenter of PA, Bobby Carpenter of PA, and Eric Carpenter of PA; three sisters, Mildred Gordon, Mary Lappe and Evelyn Richards; one brother, Larry Carpenter; fifteen grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and his former wife, Helen Carpenter. He was preceded in death by his son, Melvin Carpenter. There will be no services.
