Harold Leroy Stoneberger, 80, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away at his home on Sunday morning, June 21, 2026.

Harold was born in Hagerstown on June 22, 1945 to the late Amos H. and Cora A. (Stotler) Stoneberger.

He was a 1963 graduate of South Hagerstown High School and served in the U. S. Army. Harold was a retired employee of Sam's Club. He was a member of New Beginnings Community Church where he served as a Deacon.

Harold was an avid Ravens and Orioles fan who enjoyed bowling and taking cruises with his family.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Patricia Stoneberger; one daughter, LeAnne Snyder, and husband, Dr. Mark Snyder; one son, Timothy Stoneberger, and wife, Terry; three grandchildren, Sean Stoneberger, Beth Gladhill, and husband, Ray, and Keith Snyder, and wife, Nancy; great-grandchildren, Laci, Carson, Peyton, and Tristan; and his sister, Mary Cessna, and husband, Tom.

In addition to his parents, Harold was preceded in death by his brother, Amos "Earl" Stoneberger, in 2025.

Graveside services will be held 11am Friday, June 26, 2026 at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, 17636 W. Washington St., Hagerstown, MD with his son-in-law, Dr. Mark Snyder officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made in Harold's name to Hospice of Washington County, 1710 Underpass Way, Suite 300, Hagerstown, MD 21740.
