HAROLD EDWARD NIXON, 67, of Hancock, MD, passed away on Saturday, June, 3, 2017 at his home. Born September 27, 1949 in Cumberland, MD, he was the son of the late John Edward and Frances Althea Heller Nixon. Harold was retired from the State of Maryland. Harold is survived by four sons, Jeff, Bret, Aaron and Christopher; one sister, Margery E. Davis and husband, Norman J. and one brother, Clarence E. Nixon and wife, Barbara and several nephews. Services will be held 1 pm Friday, June 9, 2017 at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD . The Rev. Robert Robinson will officiate. Burial will be at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Friday, June 9, two hours prior to services at the Funeral Home.
