HAROLD JOE NICHOLS, 74, of 16902 Revere Road, Hagerstown, Maryland, died on Tuesday, November 06, 2012 at Golden Living Center. Born September 4, 1938, in Chamois, Missouri, he was the son of the late Joe A. and Ella Clara Wolfe Nichols. He graduated from Chamois High School. He last worked for Tri State Cable, retiring in 1990. Prior to that, he worked for Huntington Cable of Long Island, New York. He was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose. His hobbies were hunting, fishing, and furniture restoration. He is survived by his wife of thirty-six years, Clearsey Nichols; three daughters, Lisa Rowe of Sylvania, Georgia, Zoe Robinson of Hagerstown, and Susan Keenan of Casper, Wyoming; one son, John Marston of Hagerstown; two sisters, Sharon Scott of Texas, and Bonnie Narrup of Missouri; twelve grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren; and a close family friend. He was preceded in death by one sister, Luella Hartman, and two brothers, Oliver Nichols and Dennis Nichols. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a. m. Friday at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Boulevard, Hagerstown. Pastor Shaun Bushman will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 7 to 9 p. m.
