HAROLD GILBERT MORRIS, JR., 61, of Hagerstown, Maryland, died Friday, February 8, 2013 at his home. Born March 3, 1951 in Hagerstown, Maryland, he was the son of the late Harold G. Morris, Sr. and Doris E. Rohrback Morris. He was a 1969 graduate of South Hagerstown High School. He enjoyed working with and training horses. He was employed with the City of Hagerstown. He is survived by his wife, Debra Morris, who were together for twenty-eight years; a daughter, Kelli Lynn; two sons, Lane G. Morris and John D. Morris; a brother, Greg Morris; four grandsons and two great grandsons; a aunt, Doris "Dottie" Baker and husband, Harold "Bud"; niece, Carla Morris and numerous cousins. From Lane: He was a loving, caring father. He gave great advice for me to live the life he would want me to live. There is not enough words to explain the importance he held in my life. He will be sincerely missed. There will always be love in my heart for such an important role model of my life. Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, Maryland. The Rev. Michael Louia will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Tuesday at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m.
