HAROLD HILL, 67, of 10815 Coffman Avenue, Hagerstown, Maryland, died on Thursday, February 28, 2013 at his home. Born March 29, 1945, in San Francisco, California, he was the son of the late Alfred C. and Margaret Hathaway Hill. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Jane Hill on August 4, 2012. He retired after thirty years in the U. S. Army. He managed several restaurants in the area, including Great Steak & Potato Company and Burger King. He was a lifetime member of V. F. W. Post 1936. He is survived by one daughter, Kathryn Hill of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, and several cousins. A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p. m. on Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Boulevard, Hagerstown. The Rev. Randall Reid will officiate. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
