Gwendolyn Alberta Snook, 89, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away on Saturday, November 19, 2022. She was born on September 12, 1933 to the late Charles W. Snook Sr. and Louella E. Strike Snook.

Gwendolyn was a 1951 graduate of Hagerstown High School. She worked for C & P Telephone Company for 30 years until her retirement and was a lifetime member of Telephone Pioneers of America. She was a longtime member of Grace United Methodist Church in Hagerstown.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Charles W. Snook Jr, and her nephew, Timothy Snook.

She is survived by her sister, Connie Moore; her niece, Deborah I. Whaley (Dan), her grandnephew, D. Michael Whaley (Melissa), her great-grandnephew, Samuel Allen Whaley, and her great-grandniece, Katherine Leigh Whaley, all of Delaware, OH; her niece, Colleen Moore Garringer (Ted) of Windermere, FL, her grandniece, Corrie Garringer Jenkins (Will), and her great-grandnieces, Grace Constance Jenkins and Jill Marie Jenkins all of Groton, CT; her niece, Jodi Moore Tyler (Tom) of Sabillasville, MD, her grandnephews, Matthew Tyler (Hannah) and Michael Tyler (Tabitha), her grandnieces, Marissa Tyler Ismailoff (Sergei), Moriah Tyler, and Miranda Tyler, her great-grandnephews, Christopher Hurst, Jonny Tyler, Aiden Tyler, and Lucas Ismailoff, and her great-grandniece, Mackenzie Tyler; and her sister-in-law, Mary "Jackie" Snook, her grandniece, Cathy Snook, and her grandnephew, Dean Snook.

Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
