Greg Wesley Tourney, 68, of Greencastle, Pennsylvania, passed away on May 25, 2025, at his home. He was born on July 4, 1956, in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, to the late Jack and Libby Tourney.

Greg was a proud 1974 graduate of Chambersburg Area Senior High School (CASHS). For many years, he was a dedicated truck driver for Martin's Famous Pastry Shoppe in Chambersburg. Greg was a familiar and welcome face at the VFW and American Legion in Greencastle, as well as the Amvets in Hagerstown, Maryland, where he was a devoted member. In his younger years, Greg was an enthusiastic bowler, a skilled pool player, and enjoyed pitching horseshoes.

He is survived by his loving wife, Linda, and their children: Michele Lavoie (Daniel) of Medford, Massachusetts; Beth Carnell (Robert) of Greencastle; Samuel Tourney of Greencastle; and Lindsey Taylor (Jacob) of Hagerstown, Maryland. Greg was a cherished Papa to Benjamin, Blade, Caleb, and Bryar. He is also survived by his siblings, Lee Wilson (Sharon) of Shippensburg, Pennsylvania, and Kim Yohe (Paul) of Newburg, Pennsylvania, and many nieces and nephews. Greg will be deeply missed by his beloved best friend and canine companion, Noodle.

In addition to his parents, Greg was preceded in death by his brother, Jack D. and his sister, Kay.

Services will be held at 1pm on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, Maryland. Chaplain Ron Cook will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, Hagerstown, MD.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, May 30, 2025, from 6 to 8pm, and one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
