Gloria Sue Fraley, 77, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away on Saturday, November 27, 2021, at Coffman Nursing Home. Born May 31, 1944, in Hagerstown, MD, she was the daughter of the late Eston Leroy and Gladys Virginia (Bailey) Bean. Gloria was a loving mother, and cherished her dog, Pepper. She loved the holidays, especially Christmas and Thanksgiving. She was well-known for her hard candy and made it for many people. Gloria is survived by her husband of 30 years, James "Ted" Fraley; her children, Terry Straub, Kimberly Bartles and her husband, Randy, and Paul "Bam" Straub III and his wife, Cathy; three grandchildren, Josh, Zach, and Sam Bartles; and five great-grandchildren, Dustyn, Maddison, Khaleesi, Conor, and Lúthien. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Jeffrey Straub, and her brother, Roy Bean. The funeral service will be held at 1pm on Friday, December 3, 2021, at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD. Deacon Randy Bartles will officiate. Interment will be at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, December 2, 2021, from 6-8pm.
