GLORIA LEE BOHRER, 79, of North Lauderdale, Florida, died on Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at Northwest Medical Center in Margate, Florida. She was born June 7, 1931 in Hancock, Maryland to Lillian Corrine Baker. She was preceded in death by her husband of forty-two years, Ellery Kenneth Bohrer, Sr. on November 6, 1994. She was a longtime member of Washington Square United Methodist Church; She was a member of Ladies of Elk Lodge 378 in Hagerstown, the Funkstown American Legion Post 211 Auxiliary, and The Daughters of the Nile. She was active with her husband in the Ali Ghan Shrine, and the Legion of Honor Unit. She is survived by one son, E. Kenneth Bohrer, Jr., and wife, Lisa M. Bohrer, of Frostburg, Maryland; one sister, Dolores J. Yost of North Lauderdale, Florida; two grandchildren, Joseph C. Bohrer, and wife, Dana, and Madeleine R. Bohrer, all of Frostburg. She was preceded in death by one sister, Meryl K. Clevenger. She was raised in Hancock, graduated from Hancock High School and Hagerstown Business College, and worked for Dillion's Orchard, Pangborn, Ramada Inn, and as a crossing guard. Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a. m. Tuesday at the Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Boulevard, Hagerstown. The Rev. Louis L. Emerick will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 6 to 8 p. m.
