Glen Ellsworth Gordon, 86, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away on Wednesday, August 9, 2023, at Meritus Medical Center.

Born June 24, 1937, he was the son of the late Nettie Viola Gordon.

He retired from Mack Truck after 10 years of service. He then worked at Craig Paving and Grace Academy. He was an active member of Harvest Baptist Church, as well as, Broadfording Church where he served as an Usher and a Bus Driver.

Glen is survived by his daughter, Sharon Meyers and her companion, George Templon; son, Glenn Gordon and his wife, Kim Gordon; four grandchildren, Jennifer Meyers, Aaron Gordon, Leanne Bivens, and William Miller; and many great grandchildren; sister, Fannie Rouzer; and his half-brother, George Gordon.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Irene Gordon.

The funeral service will be held at 1pm on Tuesday, August 15, 2023, at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD. Pastor Stephen Rogers officiating.

Burial will follow in the Broadfording Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Monday, August 14, 2023, at the funeral home from 6 to 8pm.
