GLADYS ANNETTA STALEY, 84, of Smithsburg, Maryland, died on Thursday, July 5, 2007 at St. Joseph Medical Center in Towson, Maryland. Born December 1, 1922 in Hagerstown, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Paul Bricker and Virginia C. Leidig Kershner. She was preceded in death by her husband, William H. Staley on November 9, 1988. She graduated from Hagerstown High School in 1940. She was a member of the Bethel United Methodist Church. She is survived by three daughters, Joyce Pensinger, Donna Martin, and Linda Tritch, all of Hagerstown; and eight grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a. m. Monday at the Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Boulevard. Rev. John Schildt will officiate. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m.
