Gladys M. Hoffman was welcomed into the open arms of her Savior, 7 June 2026, after a brief illness. Born in Ashland, Ky, 21 May 1935, to Anna and Charles Sparks, Mom celebrated her 91st birthday only a couple weeks before her passing.

She enjoyed playing the piano and harmonica and was a pianist at her church for many years.

She is preceded in death by her husband, our dad, Charlie Hoffman, 6 sisters and 3 brothers. She was born 9th of 10 children.

Mom is survived by her 4 children, Howie Hoffman and wife Cindy, Diane Ross and husband Billy, Peggy Shatzer and husband Vaughn, Martha Hickman and husband Kurt, 9 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and sister-in-law, Sue Sparks.

Visitation will be on Friday, 12 June 2026, 12-1 pm, with a funeral service to follow at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E Wilson Blvd, Hagerstown.
