Mrs. Gladys Mae (Myers) Drury Brewer, 94, died on November 25, 2022 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Judy Eckard. She was born June 29, 1928 in Oldtown, MD, to the late John David Myers and Mary Elizabeth (Peck) Myers Duncan.

Gladys held many positions before retiring from the Washington County Board of Education as a Cafeteria worker. She was a protestant by faith.

Gladys is survived by her three daughters, Mrs. Janet M. Drury Tracy (George) of Wake Forest, NC, Miss Shirley A. Brewer, and Mrs. Judy E. Brewer Eckard (Jeff) of Hagerstown, MD; 5 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Walter Vincent Drury (1945) and second husband of 63 years, Fred Schnebley Brewer (2012); sisters, Mildred Myers, and Mrs. Violet Louise Glenn; and brother, Richard Calvin Myers.

The funeral service will be held at 1pm on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD. Chaplain Volodymyr Grinchenko will officiate. Burial will follow in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
