GLADYS NAOMI BARKER, 96, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away Saturday, March 8, 2014 at Golden Living Center in Hagerstown, MD. Born January 25, 1918 in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late George Franklin Sadofsky and Bertha Marie Miller Sadofsky. Gladys was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church. She was employed at Liberty Mutual St. Paul Co. Gladys was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Taylor "Bob" Barker; and three sisters, Ruth Cowan, Mildred Wood, and Grace Sadofsky. She is survived by two nephews, Timothy Wayne Cowan and William Carl Cowan, both of California. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, March 22, at 2pm at St. John's Episcopal Church, 101 S. Prospect St., Hagerstown, MD 21740. The Rev. Ann Boyd will officiate. Memorial donations may be made to the church in her honor. Arrangements made by Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E.
