GERALDINE ELLIOTT KENDRICK, 87, of 8507 Mapleville Road, Boonsboro, Maryland, died Saturday, November 25, 2006 at Fahrney-Keedy Home. Born January 29, 1919 in Washington County, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Clarence B. and Violet Keckley Horning. She was preceded in death by her husband, James O. Kendrick in 1992. She was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church. She volunteered with scouting for many years. She is survived by two sons, Ron Kendrick of Manassas, Virginia and Richard Kendrick of Greencastle, Pennsylvania; two brothers, Glen Horning of Georgia and Melvin Horning of Hagerstown, Maryland; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one sister, June Socks and one brother, Richard Horning. Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Boulevard, Hagerstown, Maryland. The Rev. Louis L. Emerick will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park.
