Gerald Thurston Rohrer, Sr., 90, of Rohrersville, MD, passed away Saturday, October 18, 2025, at Doey's House.

Born December 22, 1934 in Rohrersville, MD, he was the son of the late Earl Lawson and Edna Catherine (Bizer) Rohrer.

He spent most of his life content on a tractor, baling hay on his farm, until recently. He also found fulfillment working with Ed Moser Sawmill and was employed by Bester and Long Construction.

He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Kathryn Rohrer; two sons, Gerald Rohrer, Jr. and wife, Rebecca, and Mark Rohrer and wife, Kelly; two daughters, Patricia Kline and Tina Moore and husband, David; eight grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; seven step-great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son-in-law, Clarence Kline; his brother George "Ed" Rohrer; one step-grandchild; and two step-great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
