GEORGE FRANKLIN TURNER, JR., 43, 471 Mitchell Avenue, Hagerstown, Maryland, died on Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at his home. Born July 22, 1968, in Hagerstown, he was the son of the late Geraldine Sellers Turner, and George Franklin Turner, Sr. of Hagerstown. He was employed by Turner Transportation. In addition to his father, he is survived by step-mother, June Turner; three daughters, Cierra Shifflett, and twins , Alexis and Sabrina Turner, all of Hagerstown; two sisters, Gerry Crocetta, and Stephanie Turner McGraw, both of Hagerstown; and one brother, Thomas Lee "Pete" Turner, III of Hagerstown. He was also survived by two cousins, Olen Hawn and Candace Hawn with whom he resided, and they provided mutual care for each other. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a. m. Tuesday at the Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Boulevard, Hagerstown. Rev. Leroy Jackson will officiate. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Monday from 6 to 8 p. m.
