GENEVIEVE CLAIRE EURY, 80, of Hagerstown, Md., passed away peacefully Friday, November 22, 2013 at her home. She was born in Somerset County, Pa. to Roy and Elizabeth Simpson. She was a faithful member of Williamsport Seventh Day Adventist Church. She is survived by her husband, Wayne; stepchildren, Diana Immer and husband Robert of Hagerstown; and Bryan Eury and wife Rebecca of College Park, Md. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, Richard Wells of Hagerstown and Lexxy, Skylar, Ryan, Danika and Samantha Eury of College Park, Md.; four sisters, Eva Miller of Takoma Park, Md., Blanche Vargo of Jerome, Pa., Ruth Vargo of Hamburg, NY and Margaret Bash of Sykesville, Md.; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd, Hagerstown, Md. Pastor Franke Zollman will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Washington County Humane Society, 13011 Maugansville Road, Hagerstown, Md. 21740.
