GENE EDWARD MULLINS SR., 67, of Clear Spring, Maryland passed away Tuesday, October 22, 2013 at his home. Born December 29, 1945 in Tipler, Wisconsin, he was the son of the late Carl Edward Mullins and Dorothy Bell Mullins Polly He had been employed as a welder with Danzer Metal and retired from Rampf Molding. He attended Job Corp in Catoctin where he learned his welding trade. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He is survived by Patsy Mullins, his wife of 47 years; two daughters, Pam Mullins and Cynthia Repp and husband Justin; a son, Gene E. Mullins Jr. and wife Tina; three sisters; four brothers; and ten grandchildren, Jackie, Katrina, Brandon, Lorna, Haley, Isaac, Jenna, Rachael, Samuel and Meghan. In addition to Gene's parents, he was preceded in death by his step-father, Urias Polly. A graveside service will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park. Pastor James Moore will officiate. The family will receive friends at the Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E.
