GAYLE W. BURT, 71, of Hagerstown, Maryland, and formerly of Abilene, Texas, died on Thursday, October 14, 2010 at her home. Born November 13, 1938 in Abilene, Texas, she was the daughter of Gerald and Inez Willis. She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Eugene Burt. She formerly attended Lake Leon Baptist Church. She is survived by one son, Logan Burt, and wife, Amanda, of Hagerstown; and two grandchildren, Anthony Burt, and Alexandra Burt, both of Hagerstown. A memorial service will be held 10:30 a. m. Saturday at the Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Boulevard, Hagerstown. The Rev. Louis L. Emerick will officiate. Services and inurnment will be held at a later date in Abilene, Texas. There will be no viewing.
