Gary Lee Sulser Sr., 78, of Hagerstown, Maryland, passed away, surrounded by his loved ones on September 13, 2023 at Meritus Medical Center.

Gary was born in Capon Bridge, West Virginia, and was the son of the late William Franklin Sulser and Lorraine Lee.

Gary was a proud brick mason, and was retired from Bragunier Masonry in Clear Spring, MD. He was currently employed part time at AutoZone on Halfway Blvd, where he was a parts delivery driver. Gary loved his old classic cars, and was the proud owner of a 1951 Chevy Impala, and on Saturday nights, could regularly be found at the Classic Car Group For Children Cruise-Ins.

Gary is survived by his wife of 58 years, Janet (Tracy) Sulser; a son, Gary Sulser Jr. and wife, Tammy Sulser; daughter, Rhonda Forrest and husband, Scott Forrest; 4 grandchildren; Cody Sulser and fiancé, Vicki Myers, Tyler Forrest and wife, Elizabeth Forrest, Amber Baummer and husband, Jared Baummer; and McKenzie Lazich and husband, Riley Lazich; and two great granddaughters, Ella Grace Forrest and Emmylou Baummer. Gary is also survived by his brother, Larry Sulser and wife, Millie, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be held on Tuesday, September 19, 2023 at 11:00AM at Minnich Funeral Home in Hagerstown, MD.

Family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park in Hagerstown, MD.
