GARY LEE "Mr. G" SNOKE, 73, of Hagerstown, died on Thursday, November 19, 2009 at Julia Manor Health Care Center in Hagerstown. Born August 7, 1936 in Chambersburg, Pa., he was the son of the late William A. and Margaret Viola Snoke. He attended Fayetteville and Chambersburg schools. He worked for Engineering Company of Chambersburg and Jaffy Decorating Company in Washington, D.C. He also worked for Darryl and Vernon Sword at The Corner Pub. He was a lifetime member of Fayetteville Volunteer Fire Company in Fayetteville, Pa. and a lifetime member of Goodwill Athletic Association. He is survived by his close friend and fiancée, Anna M. Beam of Hagerstown; two daughters, Pamela S. Snoke and Beth Ann Cooper; three sons, David L. Snoke, Daniel L. Snoke and William M. Snoke; a sister, Margaret Jean Bechdell and one grandchild. Memorial services will be held on Monday at 7:00 p.m. at the Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. There will be no viewing.
