Gary Lee Jones of Hagerstown, MD passed peacefully with his family by his side, on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at the age of 77.

He is lovingly remembered by his wife Barbara of over 49 years. He is the father of Sandra Lorshbaugh, Thomas Jones, Melissa Jones, Christie Henschel, and Brandon Jones. He was blessed with eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents, Alvey and Ruth, and his sister Phyllis.

Gary joined the Marine Corp in February 1964 and served in the Vietnam War shortly after. He spent most of his life operating heavy equipment as a Crane Operator, and was always proud of the work he did.

A Private Celebration of Life service will be held at 2pm on Sunday, November 24, 2024 at Minnich Funeral Home at 415 E. Wilson Blvd, Hagerstown, MD.
