FRANKLIN DONALD STOTELMYER, SR., 72, of 13711 Emily Street, Hagerstown, Maryland, died on Thursday, September 08, 2005 at the Washington County Hospital. Born June 11, 1933 in Hagerstown, Maryland, he was the son of the late Lewis Victor and Elizabeth Catherine Rohrer Stotelmyer. He served in the U. S. Army. He was retired from Horn Sheet metal. He was a member of the Eagles #694. He is survived by his wife, Gloria June Rakes Stotelmyer; two daughters, Brenda Lee Boward, and Donna June Frye, both of Hagerstown; one son, Ralph David Stotelmyer of Hagerstown; two sisters, Janie Rohrer, and Shirley Hull, both of Hagerstown; eleven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one son, Franklin Donald Stotelmyer, Jr., and four brothers, Lewis Victor Stotelmyer, Alfred Stotelmyer, Carl Stotelmyer, and Bobbie Stotelmyer. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a. m. Saturday at the MINNICH FUNERAL HOME, 415 East Wilson Boulevard. Rev. Victor Fowlkes will officiate. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. Military honors will be conducted at the graveside by the Amvets Post 10. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 7 to 9 p. m.
