Franklin Russell Bond, 70, of Williamsport, MD, passed away on Tuesday, January 18, 2022, at Meritus Medical Center. Born December 4, 1951, in Hagerstown, MD, he was the son of the late Franklin Thomas and Mary Louise (Moats) Bond. Franklin retired from the Maryland State Highway Administration. Franklin is survived by his wife, Deborah "Debbie" A. Bond; one daughter, Crystal Bond; one granddaughter, Rosemary Miller; two brothers, Joseph Bond and Robert "Bobby" Bond; and three sisters, Edith "Sissy" Jolliffe, Rebecca Zinc, and Nancy Liggon. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Robin Bond, and one sister, Lydia Intyre. The funeral service will be held at 2pm on Saturday, January 22, 2022, at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD. Pastor Bill Divelbiss will officiate. Burial will be in Broadfording Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, January 21, 2022, from 7-9pm.
