Frank Victor Shuey, Jr., 63, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at Martinsburg VA Center in Martinsburg, WV. Born November 11, 1952 in Washington County, MD, he was the son of the late Frank V. Shuey, Sr. and the late Helen Shuey Hoover. Frank graduated from high school in 1970, and enlisted in the Marine Corps where he served 4 years active duty and 2 years reserve. He married his wife, Beverly, and they raised three beautiful children; Frank Shuey, III, Christopher Shuey, and Jonnette Shuey Edwards. Frank did his plumbing apprenticeship with Ebersole Plumbing, and attended Hagerstown Community College. He then worked in PA and NJ as an industrial plumber until his retirement in 2001. He was a member of El Shaddai Congregation in Frederick, MD. He loved God, his family, and the outdoors. In addition to his wife and children, Frank is survived by one grandson, Caleb Edward; son-in-law, Jamey Edward; and many nieces and nephews. A Life Celebration will be held Sunday, March 13, 2016 from 3-5pm at El Shaddai Congregation, 206 East 4th Street, Frederick, MD 21701.
