Frank Anthony Sacchi Sr. of Hagerstown, MD, passed away on Wednesday, September 19, 2018. He was born on September 3, 1941 in Bronxville, NY to the late Nano Sacchi and Rose Marie (Bianco) Sacchi. Frank graduated High School and worked several jobs until his retirement including Lennox China in Pamona, NJ, and Sears in Martinsburg, WV. Our Dads greatest joy after his family, was making toys for children and watching their faces light up. He also enjoyed collecting toy trains with his son Frank, old cars, and collecting antiques. He also enjoyed going to Panera Bread and spending time with friends, his Panera family, and teasing Sheila, Jenn and Gary. A special mention to life-long friend Judith Ford and her family: Thank you for always being a part of our lives. Dad and Mom loved you so much. Additionally, a special mention to Billee Jo Snyder-Steigleman and her family. Dad just loved you so much and had such fun teasing you. Thank you for keeping his spirits up by tormenting him back, when mom passed away. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his Stepfather, Walter Strahle, and his wife, Jeanne Anne Leonardo-Sacchi. He is survived by his daughters, Renee Ann Sacchi and Jennifer Lin Sacchi-Baker, his son, Frank Anthony Sacchi Jr., his grandchildren, Caitlin-Rose Jeanne Sacchi and husband, William Munson, Christina Nicole Baker and husband, Spencer Robert Farley, Wayne Allan Baker, Jr., Daniel Matthew Baker, Jeannie Marie Baker, his great-grandchildren, Giavonna Renee Lynette Munson, Addison Jane Farley, his sister, Catherine Ann Sacchi-Brooker and husband, Fred Brooker Sr., his niece, Catherine Simmons and her children, his nephew, Patrick Brooker, wife Tammy, and their children, his niece Michelle Brooker and her children, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins in New York and Florida. Family and friends are welcomed for a visitation on Thursday, September 27, 2018 from 10:00am - 12:00pm at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Boulevard in Hagerstown. The family requests that in honor of celebrating Franks life, please dress in comfortable attire. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 27, 2018 at Shenandoah Memorial Park in Winchester, VA following the viewing. Pallbearers will be: Frank Sacchi Jr., Wayne Baker Jr., Daniel Baker, Freddie Munson, and Spencer Farley.
