Francis Gerald Gross Sr., 93, of Hagerstown, MD passed away on Friday, July 14, 2023. He was born on April 23, 1930 to the late Gerald Gross and Mildred Musselman Gross.

Francis was an avid Yankees fan. He enjoyed spending time on his front porch, visiting with his grandchildren, and watching westerns – especially Gunsmoke.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Alice Mae Gross, his son, Ronnie L. Gross, his brothers, Eugene, Jimmy, Albert, and Sonny, and his sisters, Pearl and Dorothea.

Francis is survived by his children, David Gross and his wife, Cathy, Jacqueline Plume and her husband, Skip, Terry Gross, Francis G. Gross Jr., and Peggy Shipp and her husband, Rick; thirteen grandchildren, thirty-one great-grandchildren, one great-greatgrandchild, and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are welcomed for a visitation on Wednesday, July 19, 2023 from 10:00am – 11:00am at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Boulevard in Hagerstown.

A funeral service will immediately follow, beginning at 11:00am at the funeral home.

Interment will be at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park in Hagerstown.
