Frances Rose Kimicata, 93, of Williamsport, MD, passed away on Friday, December 29, 2023, at home. She was born on September 19, 1930 in Pittsburgh, PA to Gabriele Murano and Rosa Maria Gallo.

Frances graduated from Letsche Grade School and St. Rosalia High School. She worked as a sales associate at Joseph Horne Co./Macy's. Frances enjoyed cooking for family gatherings at her home, reading, and watching old movies. She was a member of St. Joseph Church, Hagerstown, and enjoyed being involved in their craft group, candy making group and "The Kids" card group.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her ex-husband, Giacomo D. Kimicata, and her brothers, Serafino Murano, Gabriel P. Murano, and David D. Murano.

She is survived by her daughters, Monica Oder (Stephen), Fran Kimicata, Rose Mormino (Jay), by her grandchildren, Rosanne and Thomas Oder, and her wonderful nieces and nephews.

A funeral mass will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 17630 Virginia Ave., Hagerstown, MD, on Thursday, January 11, 2024, at 10am.

At a later date, a private family service will be held at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Pittsburgh, PA.
