Frances L. Forsythe, 86 of Fairplay, MD passed away on Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at War Memorial Hospital in Berkeley Springs, WV. Born, June 26, 1932 in West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late George W. and Geneva L. (Lafolette) Griffith of Sharpsburg, MD. Frances was a member of Antietam First Church of God in Sharpsburg, MD. She is survived by her husband of sixty-three years, Grant E. Forsythe of Fairplay, MD; daughters, Carol L. Moler and husband Zandy of Sand Fork, WV; Janet M. Hess and husband, Jeffrey and granddaughter, Kathryn Hess of Hagerstown, MD; Linda A. Singleton and husband, Timothy of Berkeley Springs, WV; son, David G. Forsythe of Charleston, WV and granddaughter April Villa and husband, Jeremy, of Crestview, FL. In addition to her parents, Frances was preceded in death by many sisters and brothers. The family will receive friends at 12 to 1 pm, Friday, February 15, 2019 at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD. There will be no viewing. Her wishes were to be cremated and no graveside service.
