FRANCES L. DOARNBERGER, 91, formerly of 924 Chestnut Street, Hagerstown, Maryland, died on Sunday, March 21, 2004 at the Williamsport Nursing Home. Born February 7, 1913 in Hagerstown, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late William Lee and Clara Leah Semler Harper. She was preceded in death by her husband, E. Sidney Doarnberger in 1995. She was employed by R & G/Rosens Department Store and Dorbee Manufacturing Company. She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church. She is survived by two daughters, Nancy J. Wallech of Hagerstown, and Nellie C. Palkovitz of Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania; one sister, Margaret J. Conrad of Frederick, Maryland, and one brother, Robert A. Harper of Richmond, Virginia; three grandchildren, Cindy Rowe, Smithsburg, Maryland, John Palkovitz, Jr. and Mary Holland, both of Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania; and two great-grandsons and one great-granddaughter. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Grover L. Harper, William Lee Harper, Jr., and Harold E. Harper. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a. m. Thursday at the Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Boulevard. Rev. Quentin J. Fleming and Rev. Betty Dunlop will officiate. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 7 to 9 p. m.
