FRANCES L. DERRYBERRY, 89, died on Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at Homewood Assisted Living facility in Williamsport, Maryland. She was born January 31, 1922 in Uniontown, Pennsylvania, to the late William F. and Mary P. Rockwell. She was the wife of the late Cloyd W. Derryberry, and mother to William Derryberry and Calvin Derryberry, both of whom preceded her in death. She is survived by her daughter, Maryanne Recher, and husband, Gary Recher, of Smithsburg, Maryland; a daughter-in-law, JoAnn Derryberry of Ridgeley, West Virginia; seven grandchildren, Jonathan Recher, Amanda Sorg, and husband, Aaron, Kimberly Brown, and husband, Corey, Troy Derryberry, and wife, Melissa, Jamie Derryberry, Tonya Thompson, and Chad Derryberry, and her five great-grandchildren, Bryan Derryberry, Trenten Derryberry, Jordan Derryberry, Peyton Derryberry, and Shalynn Thompson. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2011 at 2:30 p. m. at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Boulevard, Hagerstown. Pastor Chris Schlotterbeck will officiate.
