FLORENCE ELOUISE HARPER, 95, formerly of Hagerstown, Maryland, died on Monday, November 26, 2012 at Fahrney-Keedy Memorial Home in Boonsboro, Maryland where she was a resident. Born December 22, 1916, in Hagerstown, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Walter Charles and Susan Mae Myers Artz. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward A. Harper in 1981. She was a lifetime member of the Hagerstown Church of the Brethren, a member of the Mary Martha Circle, and a former Deacon. She was a former member of the Washington County Hospital Auxiliary, and the Friendship Homemakers Club. She is survived by one daughter, Judith S. Dahlhamer of Hagerstown; two granddaughters, Karen Ann Smith of Boonsboro, Maryland, and Brenda Kay White of Hagerstown; two great-grandsons, Joshua Smith, and Bradley Smith, and a daughter-in-law, Anita J. White. She was preceded in death by one son, Fred White. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a. m. Saturday at the Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Boulevard, Hagerstown. The Rev. Edward L. Poling will officiate. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 6 to 8 p. m.
